I have always been a jewelry and gem lover and over the years have purchased many items that thousands of others could purchase. I wanted something original, something distinctive, something that would stand the test of time. I began dabbling in jewelry making and found not only a way to express my creativity but I got to play with gemstones! I was hooked! I did not have a lot of time to spend on jewelry making at first as I also worked full time. A few years back I found myself with a lot of extra time on my hands due to a simple surgery that preceded a major medical problem that eventually spun me into disability retirement. I needed something to occupy my time so I delved deeper into the wonderful world of jewelry making. As a previous Quality Control Manager of Customer Services and Products, I take quality very seriously. I know that a repeat customer is the cornerstone of a business and in order to have a repeat customer you have to use quality in every aspect of what you do. You do not get a second chance to make a first impression. I have taken this serious stance on quality with all the pieces I make. I despise spending hard earned money on a piece only to have the finish wear off or to have it break after only wearing it a few times. The desire to wear original, quality jewelry blossomed and I began to share with friends and family. From their urging, and an ever growing collection, I began to sell my items online. I want everyone to be able to afford and wear, original, quality pieces that will withstand the test of time. All of my items are individually designed by me and almost all are one of a kind. I will rarely make copies with exception to certain "holiday" items. I always use quality components and will test unknowns before I will consider selling them. I primarily use .925 Sterling Silver and 14K Gold Filled metals unless otherwise noted in descriptions.
