I enjoy the outdoors and use the lovely shades of nature to craft the necklaces.

Skills and Techniques

I am primarily a stringer. I work with stone, wood, seeds, precious metals and czech beads. I particularly love the way czech beads compliment the natural colors in nature's stone. Some pieces are all natural- wood and stone; some a mixture. For most pendant necklaces, the pendant comes first and then beads from my stash are pulled out as I see the way they work with the colors and patterns of the stone. I tend to go for a traditional classy look, but occasionally wander.

Get to Know

With over 1000 necklaces made and hanging on hooks or hiding in baskets, it was time to find an outlet. A woman can only wear so many necklaces in a year after all! My teenage daughter is responsible for starting me on this path. She showed me how easy it was to create my own necklaces. Years later, some formal instruction, and 100's of necklaces later, inventory has grown past reasonableness. We have been selling to co-workers or to the local boutiques quite successfully for a few years, but we were told to get the pictures on the internet so more could enjoy. ArtFire seemed like a great way to start the endeavor. Jewelry making supplies will be offered as well. I hope you enjoy buying and looking as much as I had making.
