My art reflects the many places I've lived, what I've seen and learned. Using many mediums, alone and combined, incorporating recycled materials I quilt, applique, knit, stitch - add stumpwork, needlepoint, rug hooking,and crewel details to create magic

Get to Know

Judith A. Nadeau was born in Beloit, Wisconsin. She attended Mount Mary College, Milwaukee, Wisc.; Rockford College, Rockford,Ill.;Gannon College, Erie, Pa. and graduated Cum Laude from Sacred Heart University, Fairfield, Ct. with a B.A. in History and English. While living in England, Judith studied at the Royal School of Needlework. Throughout the years she has taught needle arts, owned her own interior decorating business and specialized in cleaning, mounting and restoring antique textiles. She has won numerous awards including Best of Show Awards for her needlepoint pillows, hooked rugs and original Christmas creations in Mystic Ct., Westport Ct. and St. Marys, Pa. Her accomplishments have been recognized by her inclusion in: Who's Who in the East, The Dictionary of International Biography, and Two Thousand Notable American Woman, among others. Today at home in Maine, she continues to stitch and weave, hook rugs, quilt and use threads in new and different ways always signed with JNA. She is represented by The Landmark Gallery, 31 Ocean Avenue, Kennebunkport, Maine 04046.
