Vintage deep purple faceted glass pyramid shaped beads with even darker purple shading dangle beneath faceted sparkling fire polished Czech glass beads- both beads are from the 1950s.
These yellowish crystal beads have an underlying chartreuse green glint to them and within them is a sliver of purple - the same exact shade as the purple cones.
These beads have a very primitive look to them which I loved when combined with the smooth even polish and contour of the pyramid shaped beads .
Glass making in the Czech Republic is a very old industry where each bead is made by hand - because of how the glass is made, no two beads are alike and the intense heat of the furnaces used to finish them creates a luminous luster.
Ornate silver plated bead caps add additional texture and a bit of sparkle to compliment the fire polished glass beads .
These German purple glass pyramids measure approximately 1/2" long by 1/2" at the base and no two are exactly alike in terms of the pattern of the darker purple striping.
◉ As a point of interest : The German glass bead industry began in 1948 when German glass makers were evicted from Czechoslovakia because of their German surnames. Of the two thousand or so workers and owners evicted- only about 2 or 3 were still making hand pressed glass in the 70's.
All the vintage German glass beads that I use in my work is from this earliest time period ( the 1950s ) and not the 1970s and later.
The crystal bead above is approximately 3/8" and the total length of these earrings is approximately 1 1/2".
They have been finished on black oxidized french ear wires..
All Forever In Style earrings arrive in a little box tied with a pretty ribbon all ready for gift giving.

We will continue to refund to customers any amount that greatly exceeds our actual cost of shipping and handling.
ORDERS OUTSIDE USA: International First Class rates are now crazy: $16.50 for any package weighing from 1-5 ounces. Even an order for 2-3 small bead items may cost $16.50 or more, depending on the type of material (stone versus resin, for example). We apologize in advance if we have to adjust the postage cost of an order that has been placed. We will understand if an order is rescinded when the postage cost is too high relative to the product value.
All international orders have contents described as "loose beads" and are flagged as "commercial samples" or " gift" if you prefer to make your life easier when receiving your beads. If you'd like us to mark your order as " gift" instead please let us know!
All our beads are inspected one by one before being shipped. They are individually wrapped to protect them and then put in little plastic ziploc bags.

Love my beads! The coloring in the epidote was not as intense as illustrated, but it is certainly a good example of the mineral. The colors in the unakite beads are wonderful. The quality of the carving I would rate as good to excellent.
Nice beads!! Super fast thanks a lot!!!
I have dreamed of having a necklace such as the jade one. But the red one. That was a surprise. Both are beautiful. Thank you! Best, Jane
Lovely color;!interesting stones.
When I thought that I had ordered two of these and then checked out I had to order another set. The seller was very kind and combined my two orders and refunded my shipping.
