It's not hard to get intimidated about the thought of using double-point needles and circular needles, but there's really no need. All they do is allow you to knit pieces without seams. Instead of going back and forth, you go round and round. This collection of six basic hats and caps will let you try your hand at knitting in the round. The patterns are organized from simplest to more complex, but none are beyond the ability of an advanced beginner.
