As for the size, my model shown is 21 1/2", hat slides on and off easily from her. My noggin is 22", hat fits me nice and snug, would not have to worry about it blowing off in the winter winds. If you are more than 22" this hat will probably be too tight for you. With that being said I would call this a small - medium adult women's size.
