My boxes look riche. They inhale shiny and exhale class. This is work I love doing, and it shows.
This design reminds me of a dogwood flower. The design is penciled on by hand and then woodburned. The light spaces are made by applying the finish as a resist. Then they are stained, dried, and finished with shiny stuff. (Polyurethane.)
My box here is 2" all around- - - the diameter is 2" and it is 2" high. Can contain many things, but I would think jewelry first- - - AND::: this is the PERFECT SIZE for a roll of stamps. I used to lose my stamps alla time, but since I made a box for myself, I have not lost them once.
