Coral colored Kazuri beads blend with sponge coral cubes, Czech glass, seed beads and bone beads strung on .019 Accuflex closed with gold filled crimps and crimp covers. The end result is an eye catching one-of-a-kind piece. Kazuri beads are ceramic beads made in Kenya by women of the Kikuyu tribe. These fair-trade beads are made with clay from the Mt Kenya area lending authenticity to finished product.

The pita pat Kazuri beads used in this particular piece feature real 14K gold accents. The claspless lariat measures just over 25 inches allowing it to slip easily over the head. The end result is a unique necklace that is guaranteed to draw attention to its wearer. Coordinating earrings may be ordered separately. Also pictured are other original designs by Shelley K. Bossert, the NCTeddyBearLady.

In addition to personal checks and US Postal Money orders, I accept PayPal. Shipments paid for by check are held until the check clears the financial institution on which it was written.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

I found the sponge coral cubes about the same time I found the Kazuri beads in the same color. There were several shapes and sizes of the Kazuris available but the design didn't begin to come together until I found the gold lined Czech glass beads and the bone beads.
