To my family, Pegs and Jokers is sometimes called Evil Aggravation. Pegs and Jokers is a race game, much like Parcheesi, Trouble, Sorry or Aggravation. The big difference is that the players have choices in how to make a play each turn. Each player has choice of 5 cards in their hand instead of rolling dice or drawing a card and only doing what the results are. When another player sends you to your home, they mean to because they had a choice to play that card to send you home. The strategy comes when you can hold, in reserve, a card in your hand for a special situation. The winner is the player to race all their pegs around the board, from their home to their castle.
All of my boards are made of solid, hand picked, top quality hardwoods. The boards are never stained and are the natural color of that wood. The boards are finished with 4-8 coats of tung oil and then waxed and buffed, which is easily fixed if a board should become scratched. The pegs in my sets are aluminum, which will not break off in the holes and dont stick when you pull them out of the holes. My sets are first class all the way and will last for generations.
The 2-6 player game sets contains six interlocking boards, six sets of five aluminum pegs (blue, red, yellow, green, orange and purple), three decks of cards and the rules of play.
Expansion sets can be ordered to expand your game up to 10 players.
