This is an older variety that was originated in Virginia. The leaves are closely spaced on the stalk and are wider than most varieties. Provides a large bounty of tobacco in a very small space.

This heirloom tobacco plant will provide you with plenty of visual appeal, and original taste if you process it for smoking. Cures to a light brown with a rich, full bodied flavor.
Grown with no chemicals, and packaged untreated, the seed is delivered to you with no additives, chemicals, or in any way adulterated.
General Description: Probably no other plant is used as much for so little to be known about it as is the noble tobacco plant. While everyone is familiar with the smoking and chewing products derived from this plant, few people realize its many other uses. It has medicinal values, makes an extremely valuable ornamental plant and flower garden specimen and is used to make one of nature's finest biodegradable, all natural pesticides.
Nicotiana is the genus of annual and perennial herbs and, more rarely, shrubs of the nightshade family. Plants have sticky, hairy, foliage and are toxic, in large quantity. The flowers are trumpet shaped and white, yellow, green, pink orange or violet. Most varieties grow well in large containers outside or indoors in direct sunlight or artificial light. Planting in your garden will help attract beneficial ecology to your garden.
Nicotine production by all tobacco plants can be harvested to make a totally organic and natural pesticide.
Tobacco for personal consumption is limited to just under an acre; per non-commercial grower; for individual or family consumption. You could easily grow 400-500 plants that can yield approximately 10.5 or more ounces of cured tobacco each. A pound of cured tobacco can make up to 900 cigarettes, 300-500 cigars, and 1-2 pounds of chewing tobacco. There are approximately 30 leaves to a pound.

"Tobacco was probably the most well known plant in the Americas from pre-colonial time onward. This was a very different tobacco from that commercially available today (Nicotiana bigbucks). Tobacco was used for hundreds of generations and virtually every Native American tribe used tobacco; as an offering to the spirits when planting or gathering food, for healings and for ceremonies. The sacred uses of tobacco are different for many tribes but a basic truth remains, Tobacco was medicine, used for prayer, protection, respect and healings. In many Indian rituals, ceremonies, and religious observances, tobacco was the unifying thread of communication between humans and the spiritual powers. Tobacco also sealed peace treaties between tribes and agreements between individuals. For such a purpose, the chief often kept a special pipe with a long decorated stem, "Peace Pipes". It was an important Shamanic tool throughout the Amazon. Used alone for its entheotic powers or sometimes smoked during Ayahuasca ceremonies or added to the brew. The smoke itself was thought to be sacred and purifying, and tobacco was often burned to purify and protect, even if not inhaled."

Purchased monkey puzzle tree seeds. They arrived on time and in acceptable packaging, but the seeds are way too tiny. This type of tree produces large seeds, usually 1.5 to 2 inches in length. The seeds I received where not even 1/16 of an inch. Emailed seller twice regarding my surprise and concern and have not received a response. My recommendation: Find another seller.
