Yes, the way ColtPixy showed you is what people must type into their browser. Anything else won't bring your customers here.

I posted this question in the Photography thread two weeks ago but there was no reply since and the thread is not active.   Maybe someone here can point me to the answer.

My problem is also related to uploading the correct size photo and have them display properly on the Artfire page.
Here is an example:
You see the first picture in the thumbnail (and on the main page) as a severely cropped image but the second thumbnail looks perfect.   Both pictures are 520 x 400 on my HD and were uploaded as such.  When I right click on the thumbnails in Artfire, choose "View image info" on Artfire, it shows the thumbnails as 114 x 114 for the 1st one and 87 x 114 for the 2nd.
Why are these two identical photos showing up differently on Artfire?
I use Photoshop Elements to re-work and re-size my images.
I need to get the thumbnails on my studio page to show the entire image and don't understand why the second  image thumbnails are OK but not the first.
Thanks
Gail

Hi Gail,

Since Artfire's image display is square, even for the thumbnail in your studio, you need to upload "square" shaped images, otherwise you will always get cropping issues if you want the whole item to show.

So, make sure your pictures are as wide as they are high (so, 520 x 520) and then they will show in their entirety on the home page of your studio.

The home page thumbnails are cropped square.
The 2nd/subsequent image thumbnails on the item's page try to show all of the image, so they display non-square items in full on a thumbnail size.

You avoid all this problem of your items not displaying in full, just upload square shaped images, especially for the first image (so that it displays the full picture on your home page).

If your images are all cropped to be rectangular (taller), then you could create a blank canvas that is square in PSE (like 520 x 520) and layer on there the rectangular image and center it, and save the layered file as a jpeg "square" image (the blank canvas becomes your square image basically).

That's what I needed to know. Thanks Nat. Don't know why Artfire can't specify that in their help topics. Now I've got to go back and do a lot of photo re-sizing. My favorite job - NOT!

Hi Christie,
there is a Guild Master Forum ..this question may have been answered faster there...
As of right now there isn't a way to change that.

What is the e-mail address for Artfire support so that I can ask why I have been billed for 2 months of subscription fees when I downgraded from Pro over 2 months ago? I need to ask Artfire to stop billing me and refund my 2 months subscription fees. Is it support@artfire.com? Why is it so hard to find the contact info?
